How It Works
- ShopiSync searches your configured competitor websites and/or search engines
- We use your product title as search terms
- Results are matched and presented for your review
- Approve relevant matches to add them as competitors
Using Competitor Search

Navigate to Competitor Search
Click "Competitor Search" in the sidebar. -
Select a product
Choose which product you want to find competitors for. -
Click "Search Competitors"
ShopiSync will search your configured websites. -
Review results
Check the "Pending Results" tab for matches. -
Approve or reject
Click the approve button to add as a competitor, or reject to skip.
Search Methods
1. Competitor Site Search (Recommended)
Searches directly on your configured competitor websites. Most reliable and accurate.
2. Bing Shopping
Free search engine method. Works well for most products but may be rate limited.
3. SerpAPI (Premium)
Optional paid service for high-volume users. Requires an API key configured in settings.
4. CSV Import
Upload a spreadsheet of competitor URLs. Perfect for bulk setup.
Bulk Discovery
To find competitors for multiple products at once:
- Click "Discover All Products"
- Select how many products to process
- Wait for the batch job to complete
- Review all pending results

Batch discovery processes a few products per minute to avoid rate limiting.

Tips for Better Results
- Use EAN/Barcode: Products with barcodes get more accurate matches
- Clean product titles: Remove store-specific prefixes/suffixes
- Configure competitor sites: Direct site search gives the best results
